Dr. Kazi Zayn Hassan completed his Bachelors of Science at Boston College and his M.D. from Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston, MA and then specialized in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Jackson Health Systems/University of Miami/Miami VA He is devoted to enhancing the well-being of the residents and staff of the nursing homes he serves. His other passion is to translate clinical research and apply an analytical framework to help providers drive better patient outcomes through advances in AI. After spending 4 years in the mental health space, he remains a mental health advocate for his patients.

Dr. Hassan co-founded Nue Life Health, a public benefits corporation to build a digital platform to offer a supported patient experience for at-home ketamine therapy including integration and aftercare.
Nue Life Health Inc. raised $23M in its Series A at a $100M valuation, but soon after faced a difficult regulatory environment that led to a downscale and acquisition by the Beckley Foundation.
Dr. Hassan serving as its initial Chief Medical Officer ultimately was succeeded by Dr. Frank Drummond, former National Medical Director of Behavioral Health at HCA.
Nue Life Health attracted uniquely passionate and talented people who devoted themselves to deliver the highest standard of telemedicine care to over 10k patients. Through Nue Life’s data platform. Nue Life validated the benefit of integration in our clinical outcomes data.
Dr. Hassan co-authored a study on 664 of its treatment-resistant patients found in the Frontiers in Psychiatry. demonstrating a 65% response rate in Treatment-Resistant Depression.
